During his first cabinet meeting, Elon Musk on Wednesday suggested that Donald Trump should be one of the many government employees who should be let go.

At least that is the inevitable conclusion one must reach when breaking down what the DOGEster-in-chief said after being asked how many federal employees should be cut.

“We wish to keep everyone who is doing a job that is essential and doing that job well,” Musk said. “If the job is not essential, or if they are not doing the job well, they obviously should not be on the public payroll.”
